A downloadable game

You have one task: find a house on the edge of town, get inside, steal a package, get out. Simple as that. You brought your piece with you, but it's not like you're expecting anything weird, right?

A Simple Job is a PSX-style first person survival horror set in a house where everything is not as it seems. This was made specifically for Scream Jam 2022 + 1, but unfortunately, we could not go all the way, so the game is in a very rough state as of now. However, we hope you'll give it a try and send us your feedback.

Very good game. The plot is rather confusing and strange, in particular the moment with the doll that the protagonist set on fire is rather obscure. And it’s also not clear who all the same were these monsters and that strange man downstairs, in the basement. I can only assume that everything that happens after he got out of the basement is his hallucination or dream, because the man below was quite real and died, and the monster simply disappeared after death. Or maybe it was his agony and the man with the knife killed him, not the other way around. In any case, this is a very good, atmospheric and unusual horror, I liked it

This was truly fantastic!

I mostly enjoyed the style of the game, the performance and overall creepy vibes. Definitely a banger experience. Considering, that this is a Jam project, to my surprise it had no major issues and worked perfectly. 

Great Job on the game. Best of luck with the future developments. Cheers!
